Claire and James' wedding took place at the very stylish Ace Hotel in London in March 2017. I shot this fantastic wedding with the wonderful Rebecca Rees for A Thing Like That Photography on one of those beautiful winter's day where you have that crisp feeling in the air and beautiful low winter sunlight gleaming everywhere.
Our shoot with Claire and James started off with a first look ceremony in a park just around the corner from the hotel; whilst I always without fail shed tears during my client's ceremonies, a first look ceremony is a sure fire way to make me cry before the day has even begun!! Jeez guys! C+J decided to schedule their first look just before their ceremony, so once they'd had a pre-ceremony greet, cuddle, kiss and cry, it was time to head back to the Ace Hotel to get married! (there's always time for a photo in front of the Hollywood lights though, right!?)
Once the happy couple had said their 'I do's', the guests mingled, Claire and James had their group photographs done with Rebecca whilst I covered the beautiful table arrangements just ahead of the wedding breakfast. We stayed for the speeches (which were a blast as always) and then that was me!
I absolutely loved being Claire and James' Ace Hotel photographer with Rebecca, and I am super thrilled to be back again in 2018!
