Mark and Kathleen asked me to be their Corinthia Hotel wedding photographer back in September. They had a wonderfully intimate wedding with just their closest family attending, and made full use of some of the beautiful sights central London has to offer!
After spending some time exploring the local area to set the scene, I joined Mark and the boys (and Constance!) at the Duck and Waffle Local to get a few shots of their time together over breakfast. I then made my way over to the incredible Corinthia Hotel to capture Kathleen’s bridal preparations, along with her family and Mark’s sister in law and children. When it was time to head to the Old Marylebone Town Hall for the ceremony, I travelled over with Mark and his sons on the tube, as Mark had great visions of the photos that could be taken on the underground! I’m so glad we did, the fun these boys have together was great to capture!
Once Mark and Kathleen had exchanged rings, said their I do’s and got showered with confetti, we hopped in a taxi and head over to Trafalgar Square and Whitehall Gardens to take some portraits of the newly weds. The low autumn sun shone brightly and we got some beautiful portraits in some gorgeous central London locations. When we returned to the Corinthia Hotel, we were told we could be taken up to the Royal Penthouse Suite for some more portraits; I think we were all a bit stunned by it’s grandeur and amazing views, but we managed to pull a few titanic-esque and champagne shots out of the bag!!
Mark and Kathleen’s wedding breakfast took place in the Northall Rooms at the Corinthia Hotel, which had been beautifully styled by the in house florists and stylists. The use of florals, glass and candle light was truly stunning, and after a few speeches, it was my time to say goodbye to this lovely family as they enjoyed the rest of their wedding together.
I completely loved being Mark and Kathleen’s Corinthia Hotel London wedding photographer - scroll down for a round up of photos from their day!
